The South Florida Association for the Education of Young Children (SFAEYC)

The South Florida Association for the Education of Young Children is the local affiliate representing The National Association for the Education for Young Children in the Miami Dade County.  Our Executive Board of Directors is comprised of Educators, Directors and Administrators from a variety of private and public schools and local early childhood agencies.  Our Mission is to foster the well-being of all children through professional development and community networking opportunities in South Florida. As part of our mission we present conferences, offer CEU’s, and are available to answer questions related to NAEYC Accreditation process.  NAEYC Accreditation began in 1985 with the goal of providing an accrediting system that would raise the level of early childhood programs. Today, over 6,500 programs are NAEYC Accredited.
